The FBAW 2020 virtual conference was held on November 4-5, 2020. The Conference attracted more than 380 participants, including academics, business experts, family business representatives, and students, from 50 countries, and 54 universities participated.

 

The FBAW Conference was held over two days, starting with Academic Day, with more than 40 presentations and case studies from scholars from Europe, North and South America, Asia, and the Middle East; the Academic Day focused on advancing the extant knowledge about the relationship between the family business and the context in emerging, developing, and transitional economies; and the Business Family Day highlighted the leadership required to build resilient, future-proof organisations, as well as the challenges that the family business leaders faced and how leaders address the new reality and transform challenges into opportunities.
